Business Development Manager - (J-OEM)

Our client is one of the world's leading manufacturers of precision moulded silicone parts for controls and switches for the automotive industry.
In this role, you will be working with the international team to manage the key client relationships and driving strategic initiatives to ensure their continued satisfaction and loyalty. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, managing new projects and developing strong relationships, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver exceptional service and solutions.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Be responsible for new projects with clients for the Thai market.
  • Be responsible for seeking new potential/existing customers, visiting new customers to discuss projects and building a good relationship.
  • Works close together with Key Account Manager, Technical team, Administration located in Hong Kong/Japan/South Korea/India.
  • Seeking a new job opportunity for the automotive industry in Thailand.
  • Supports all sales group members in all necessary aspects as needed to ensure effective and efficient customer response.
  • Act as a key window person for this company and client in the Automotive Industry
  • Manages tooling projects (serial and pilot) in Salesforce CRM
  • Manages dates / lead times and response to customers on these items
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Manages sample shipments and response to customer on these items.
  • Manages customer project communication - manages customer expectations along with KAM
  • Be responsible for Japanese global customers for the company.
  • Provide administrative assistance to key account managers and technical teams on complaint handling and general communication, like information gathering, reply follow-up, lead time control etc.
  • Analyses and solves invoice and dunning issues, follows up with customer to receive payment.
  • Responsible to submit all required documents to customer to release payments for tooling and pre-production orders"
  • Supports all sales group members in all necessary aspects as needed to ensure effective and efficient customer response.
  • Direct contact with Tier 1 Automotive customers and production partners in Asia
  • Additional country-specific tasks may apply
WHO YOU ARE
  • Graduated from an Engineering Degree or related field.
  • Japanese Speaking is a plus
  • Proven experience as a Key Account Manager or relevant role in the Automotive Sector.
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management and sales principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
