We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager with a strong background in the light manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of accounting operations and a proven track record in handling tax matters, including tax refunds and interactions with the revenue department. A Certified Public Accountant (CPD) certificate is required.

Your new role

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.
• Handle all tax-related matters, including tax refunds and liaising with the revenue department.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to identify trends and variances.
• Coordinate and support external audits and tax filings.
• Manage and mentor a team of accounting professionals.

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPD certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on the light manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting operations and principles.
• Extensive experience in tax matters, including tax refunds and dealing with the revenue department.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
