Your new company

In this role, you will liaise with the Finance Director and Group CFO to set up a new business unit in the educational sector located in Lat Krabang. You will have an opportunity to grow in your career to become Finance Manager once the business is expanding by looking after general accounting tasks and engaging with key stakeholders of school parties.

Your new role

• Maintain a full set of accounts for the holding company and SBS International School Bangkok
• Perform regular month-end closing activities to ensure accurate and updated accounting records, including prepayments, accruals, bank reconciliation, and accounts reconciliation
• Update and maintain the fixed assets register, ensuring accurate records of asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation
• Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing and payment tracking
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely collection of payments
• Analyse accounts receivable ageing reports and provide regular updates to the management
• Manage the accounts payable process, including the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices
• Verify and reconcile vendor invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts, resolving discrepancies as needed
• Manage all sales transactions on the POS system with high accuracy and efficiency
• Prepare withholding tax, VAT, and corporate income tax filing
• Support external auditors during annual audits by providing documentation and explanations
• Develop and maintain adequate internal controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Perform any other tasks as assigned

What you'll need to succeed

• Accounting licence
• Experience in service delivery in a school environment would be desirable.
• Operational experience of School Management Accounting Systems
• Budget and Profit & Loss ownership
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Degree or higher level qualification in related area
• Right to work in Thailand
