Your new role
- Plan and set strategies for product sales to achieve targets and revenue goals.
- Manage business plans to ensure market share and revenue growth.
- Oversee the sales team to ensure effective and efficient product distribution with a focus on sell-out.
- Provide guidance to team members to ensure their performance aligns with team objectives.
- Develop and implement strategies to outperform competitors by identifying market opportunities and growth areas and developing customer and consumer strategies.
- Compile and analyse data to support sales operations, including preparing summary reports.
- Forecast sales volumes, analyse variances, and take corrective actions against missed forecasts.
- Develop systems, processes, and collaborate with other regional sales managers and the sales director.
- Make decisions and solve problems within the scope of responsibility and authority.
- Act as a role model in terms of attitude, ethics, and professional conduct.
- Enhance the sales team's competencies through direct coaching, motivation, and performance evaluation.
- Manage supply chain strategies, develop and manage preferred distributors, and lead business reviews with distributors.
- Manage stock levels and coverage at distributors.
- Allocate and monitor the commercial budget for specific regions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
What you need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the FMCG sector, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the alcoholic beverage industry is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of sales performance, customer management, and category management.
- Skills in strategic thinking, data analysis, decision-making, and people management.
- Understanding of market strategies and competitive positioning.
- Basic knowledge of market research tools like Nielsen (% share, channel growth, distribution, etc.).
- Proven success in driving sales growth, leading teams, and expanding markets.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Skills in analysing market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Understanding of profit and loss statements and return on investment.
