ASEAN Marketing Specialist - (Industrial Sector)

General Summary

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Marketing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving the success of our marketing initiatives, with a primary focus on trade shows and marketing events. Additionally, you will help build demand generation mechanisms across the SEA region. Your responsibilities will include coordinating and executing marketing campaigns tailored to these events, collaborating with sales and product management teams, and leveraging various channels to maximise brand value, customer engagement, and lead generation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Campaign Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns. Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of marketing materials and assets to achieve campaign objectives.
  • Offline Events Management: Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing activities for offline events, such as trade shows, customer events, and conferences.
  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for various marketing materials, ensuring alignment with our brand voice and effective communication of key messages.
  • Communication Channel Management: Manage communication channels, including the company website, social media platforms, email marketing, and other relevant channels. Regularly update content, monitor engagement, and respond to enquiries to maintain a consistent and active online presence.
  • Demand Generation Implementation: Assist in developing and implementing demand generation initiatives, including funnel build-up/tracking, MQL/SQL conversion, and lead nurturing plans. Maintain relationships with media contacts to generate positive coverage and increase brand visibility.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and analyse the performance of communication initiatives, campaigns, and content engagement metrics. Prepare regular reports summarising key findings, insights, and recommendations for optimisation.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product management, to ensure alignment of messaging and coordinated execution of marketing communication strategies.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field, with a minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in marketing communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools, including trade shows, websites, email marketing tools, and social media management tools.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of Mandarin communication and basic price control know-how is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to track and report on marketing communication performance.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and generate innovative ideas.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel.
