Your new role
Employee Retention:
Prioritise initiatives to retain both recent hires and long-standing employees across all levels.
Develop tailored retention strategies to increase employee satisfaction and build loyalty, focusing on career progression, employee benefits, and workplace engagement.
Monitor trends in employee turnover and conduct regular surveys or exit interviews to gather actionable feedback.
Recruitment & Planning:
Design effective recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber talent aligned with organisational goals and culture.
Analyse workforce requirements and proactively plan for workforce needs by forecasting based on business growth and market trends.
Create and maintain a robust talent pipeline to address both short- and long-term organisational requirements.
Training Development:
Introduce innovative and creative methods to conduct engaging training programs, ensuring alignment with organisational standards and objectives.
Regularly assess the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjust content or delivery methods to maximise impact.
Facilitate training sessions that focus not only on technical skills but also on fostering leadership, teamwork, and personal development.
Employee Relations (ER):
Work closely with the existing ER team to streamline and enhance processes related to employee relations.
Oversee discussions and resolution of employee-related issues, fostering a collaborative and fair environment.
Serves as a guiding hand to ensure every aspect of employee relations is managed efficiently and supports organisational harmony.
What you'll need to succeed
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in human resources, with experience in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions, including talent acquisition, training and development, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and legal compliance.
