You’ll be working for a reputable market-leader within the Textile for active wear who is looking for an HR Manager to be based at Surin Plant in Northeastern Thailand. Your new role
In this leadership role, you will directly affect the business by utilising your Human Resource management, and by connecting directly to the Regional HR Director. Furthermore, it is expected that you contribute to the growth of the business through your working closely with the Plant Manager in operating the facilities in accordance with all required government and company regulations, and ensuring the implementation of effective programs which meet production, delivery, cost, quality, and efficiency goals of the company. Fostering teamwork, and promoting safety awareness.
Key responsibilities include developing policies and overseeing HR activities, such as recruitment, labour relations, performance management, compliance, learning and development, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, HR analytics, and CSR activities.
- Formulate and implement HR strategies, policies, and processes.
- Manage workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, training, employee relations, and disciplinary issues.
- Monitor compensation and benefits, balancing cost control with staff retention.
- Facilitate employee performance management and address welfare issues.
- Support managers with resolving employee issues and advise on labour law compliance.
- Foster positive employee relations and demonstrate company culture and values.
- Lead and develop the HR team, promoting teamwork and enhancing skills.
- Execute HR operations within the approved budget.
- Support career development and succession planning with training programs.
- Generate HR metrics for decision-making and report HR activities to senior management.
- Handle administrative tasks such as canteen cleanliness, transportation, and security.
What you'll need to succeed
To ensure your success in this role, you will possess:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in HRM, HRD, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A strong foundation within HR Management, HR Development functions with preference given to those experienced in large organisations.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in HR management within manufacturing, experience with textile or garment production will be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of HR strategy and principles, learning and development, talent management, and HR Management and Employee engagement.
- Excellent time management skills and a proven track record in establishing relationships with the stakeholders.
- Excellent people leadership and communication skills, with the ability to develop, manage, motivate, and inspire team members.
