We are seeking a dynamic, results-oriented professional to join our Investment Banking team. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, advising clients on strategic transactions such as Initial Public Offering (IPO), capital raising, and other complex financial solutions. As an Investment Banking Associate/Analyst, you will be integral to deal execution, providing financial analysis, conducting due diligence, and helping structure transactions that drive significant value for clients across various industries.
Your new role
Financial Modelling & Valuation: Build and refine financial models to determine IPO valuation and pricing.
Due Diligence: Assist in the due diligence process, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Offering Documents: Help draft IPO prospectus, roadshow materials, and regulatory filings.
Market Research: Analyse industry trends, competitor performance, and investor sentiment to inform strategy.
Roadshow Support: Prepare materials and support logistics for investor roadshows.
Pricing & Structuring: Assist in determining IPO pricing, share allocation, and investor targeting.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate SEC filings and address regulatory feedback.
Investor Relations: Support communication strategies and managing investor enquiries.
Post-IPO Monitoring: Track IPO performance and prepare reports on market reception.
Client & Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with clients, legal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
What you'll need to succeed
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related fields. Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA, CFA) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques (DCF, comps), and capital markets.
- Experience in financial modelling and analysis.
- Prior experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or capital markets (internships or full-time roles) is preferred, especially in IPOs or equity offerings.
- Strong ability to analyse large sets of data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, especially in financial reporting, documentation, and compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting presentations, offering documents, and interacting with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams (legal, tax, audit, etc.).
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with securities regulations, SEC filings, and IPO processes is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modelling tools; familiarity with Bloomberg or other market research platforms is beneficial.
